For print making class, we used wood cut and water based paint to make ink pressed art. 
we were taught how to carve linoleum board and use it to make ink pressed arts as well.
for final project. we were aked to pring back flowers/leaves/stems to stick on a mdf board, and create pressed ink art with it.
